also buff dmg on top of it. and duration, we can't have dmg buff without longer duration now can we.
oh oh and make 3 illusions, since it used to be one, and now it's two, only makes sense to continue the trend.

Once I got an illusion rune on morphling... 30 secs later I had an ultrakill XD

Illusion is the best rune you can get at lvl 1 as mid.

I guess its a matter of opinion, since i think dd is the best at lvl 1...

as i tend to play support and therefore mostly squishy i tend to pick one up and move it near enemy nukers and get them excited and waste mana and causing cooldowns

i still like the haste more than the illu at lvl 1. haste or dd still best lvl 1 runes to me

Situational. Invis can in many situations be the absolute worst rune level #1 - since it useless if none ganks - it can grant you one free lasthit.

Illusions for me is a good rune @ level 1. I can use it to dominate the first waves in the mid, it can be used to stack camps in woods (if you are playing SF, its lovely to have a tripplecamp in woods you can go to if your lane is pushed), or it can be used to scout the next rune rune and secure it or destroy it your opponent go after it.
