I'm saying clan and not team because the whole idea is to gather players who has the mindset of wanting to join Dota 2 tournaments.
Multiple teams could be formed within the clan depending on the quality of players we have.
Quick notables:
- avoid hours spent on nightly basis to play pub games
- will be able to focus on roles that you are strong/want to excel on
- constructive criticism from clan-mates
I'm just posting from my mobile, I'll post more details about this initiative but I think you guys already know what I want.
I've done the same thing in Dota 1 and we reached about 30+ members. The philosophy though was a bit hard to implement because of platform limitations - you have to be playing LAN/offline games to develop teamwork/chemistry. I even setup a gaming cafe business to take it one step further but location is still a a major factor. Imo, Dota 2 platform has addressed most of these issues.
Will post more later but I want to get a feel first on what the community thinks about this. Also, I decided to post this here and not in GG or PD or whereever because I know that people here are more serious gamers than the normal ones :)
