Before Lycan wolves were nerfed he was the easiest pub jungle hero and seem to be in 1/3 of the games. Now he is 87th...
It's surprising how little changes have such a large impact on which heroes people play. Of course over successive nerfs Lycan wolves got a ton weaker.
Used to be 625 hp, now 320...they just can't tank many jungle creeps anymore.
With lycan if you get vladi ~lvl 5 jungling is pretty much the same as used to be.
The problem is lycan is extremely vulnerable for first few levels in jungle, because you can't tank creeps with the wolves until you get vladi.
Getting to lvl 5 via laning is a mistake though, and through jungling its inefficient,slow and presents non-existing ganking potential. Lycan as is now cant really find a place for himself. And most players play a hero that is easy to win, when things get harder they abandon the hero(no all players ofc). "you live long enough to become the villain" or sth like that :D
What was the nerf for drow? I've realized that drow is weak as shit in pub nowadays. Nobody wins with her (alllies or enemies).

Better to play heroes like husky or slark rather than drow or troll
Previously (prior to 6.77c) her Marksmanship aura gave 1/2 the bonus if a hero was within 400 radius of her. After it gives 0% bonus if a hero is within 375 radius of her, so she is extremely vulnerable to gap closers / slowers... and even more so than before positioning becomes paramount. She isn't quite trash tier IMHO but she is very close.
I still win with drow :)
