last time I said "Anyone want mid?" and no one responded, the Drow insisted mid after I already picked TA. So I went in a side lane. In the end I was higher level and more kills than her. We still lost though.
I mean you can have mid if you want but I already asked if anyone else wanted it and no one did so I picked a mid hero. Then you push me off with a hero that can play side lane.
Because you need to make those stupid supports to go to a lane when a mid hero is picked .. instead of there ending up a fight for mid which will result in all mid -_-

when i dont say anything cause whatever chill and someone calls mid i TAKE MID FROM HIM because im obviously better and he's gonna feed -->usually those players ragequit min 5 or feed the whole game if i dont do it
the most irritating thing is that you have a mid hero and some douche just walks in just as the creeps spawn and pings you. no words at all just pinging like wtf
i sometimes call mid coz i have the most fun in that lane if some1 would call before me i have no problem going side lanes but most of the time people dont mind but i do hate those games where its a fight for mid with ur team mates
people that call mid are retards most of the time they are going to pick what they want to play instead of what your team needs in order to win but ofc thats valves mm fault and lack of ladder
tbh i think that number of players is fake and valve just put bots with random names into mm because it all doesnt make any sense
i think those people come from League coz in that game u have to call ur lane first before picking

but when they call mid and pick pudge,invoker, silencer, sniper and etc.... you have only one way out....

coz league of legends meta demands that u need one jungler, one attack dmg carry and one support on bot lane, one durable tank on top lane, and one ability power carry mid.
so u gotta let the others know which role u wanna play.
its usually not a problem though coz people there are understanding when it comes to this but if u are unlucky....
i would be more worried of the 4 carry + 1 support/tank teams that seem to pop up more frequently some people are very stubborn

Let's not dumbasses here. When you play All Pick, this is essentially a practice mode. That is why you can pick any hero you would liike. People play this mode to try heros in what lane they want and so on and so forth. In dota, lanes can usually be calculated based on what heros were picked meaning mid is defined by what hero was picked for that team, not the people them self. They are letting you know that they are grabbing a mid hero so don't grab one. They are relying on you to fill the team with the other roles. Mid is not always a carry. A support role can be mid as well. Don't get mad at scrubs when you play all pick and don't like the team comp or people calling lanes. It a practice mode faggot.
