Its frozen as far as I can tell, I've had 12+ wins over losses in the past few days and I'm still stuck at 1699 :(

wtf, why do they disable rating. i mean when you put your profil public you should get a rating and all the other stuff in return.
Because as it's been said a million times in the past days, rating is impossible to calculate unless every single player has a public match history. DotaBuff didn't disable the rating, Valve killed it with the privacy setting.
i have several friends who very obviously skill level is lower than me but have a better DBR than mine....feeling so down after getting to know my DBR is only 1606 =(
Valve needs to introduce their own public MMR/Rating system if they want DotA 2 to be competitive. I feel like wins/losses mean nothing If I don't see my own progression in some kind of ladder or something. Sure, it's still fun to play, but I want to compete/improve my own rating, that'll motivate me to play more.
Let's just calculate DBR based on profiles registered of dotabuff - it'll be something like league ranking :P
The League ELO system was public - so basing elo/DBR based ONLY on profiles on Dotabuff won't be accurate at ALL without looking at data for everyone as a whole. Still better than nothing imo until Valve releases their own system.
We're taking Valve's lead on this one - DBR is discontinued and we're really looking forward to their new matchmaking/rating system, whenever it arrives. Patience until then :)
for me it still works :) just open dota and in settings/general click share ur data. that option u can use for a while now. noticed that 2 days ago
Valve tries to take care of all their players, good and bad ones too. Higher level players probably would want their rating to be shown but the lower ones would not. Rating will only boost the "better" players' ego and they will blame the lost game on the lower rated players.
mine is stuck on 2005 mark even tho i played like 50 games. I am almost 102% certain that it's not fucntioning now
Can you give us preview to rating history since its gonna be gone ? Im sure you saved that up cos you had plus option with rating trend or something.

Either it's really hard to change or it's at a standstill. I played a few more games and win or lose nothing about my DBR changed.
I also had a mental note of the #1 and #2 player's DBR and theirs haven't changed either.
Is it still updating?
