Would love dotabuff to make API so you can embed some of these stats in your website.

They use Valve's API. Simply do the same.

Valve shut down their API. So dotabuff is using some alternative method to grab player/match stats.

Making and supporting an API is a challenging project that by itself would be hugely problematic. DOTABUFF's priorities must be on improving its website before we can considering an API of that scale. Additionally we feel Valve has already developed an API so there is an expectation that they will continue to support it in the future. Sorry we can't be of more help!

I realize this is an old thread, but I was wondering if it'd be possible to do this soon? Looking at frontend changes, not much has happened for the last few months.

I don't see how hard it would be to implement something that basically pulls from the same stats as the stat pages do - dota plus data I can understand would be harder to implement, but it's not like someone asks to be able to "pull out stats for this specific player in this date range with this range of heroes playing with this range of players".

Valve's API isn't very thorough. You can query matches and that's it.

Bump. Is there any dotabuff api?
