LGD-Gaming win MDL
Chinese power house LGD-Gaming has won its first LAN title since their G-League victory in late 2015. On their way to the title, the team around superstar Maybe brought down giants such as OG or Newbee and eventually beat their sister team LFY in a tense 3-2 finals, earning $112,500 USD. For LGD, this is a much needed confidence boost going into TI7, as the squad missed out on the Kiev Major and had a disappointing run at the Boston Major.

Immortals III are out, ft. Viper and Sven
Valve has now released the last of the Immortals treasures as they unveil a new set of Immortals, which includes Viper's first cosmetic item. Other heroes represented in this treasure are Spectre, Weaver, Legion Commander, Winter Wyvern and Sand King. The rare drop is a tool which grants 50 Battle Pass levels, the very rare drop is a golden version of the Weaver Immortal and the ultra rare drop is a Sven sword which features custom Greater Cleave effect and sound and more.

MidOne 2nd player to reach 10k MMR
Just shortly after Digital Chaos' Abed became the first player worldwide to reach 10k MMR, Team Secret's MidOne has taken it upon himself to accomplish that feat as well. MidOne reached his goal while at home, playing on South-East Asian servers while streaming.

VP.Dota2 extends contract till end of 2018
Russian organization Virtus.pro has announced that their Dota 2 squad has signed a contract extension that binds them to the company until the end of 2018. Virtus.pro had previously signed a similar deal with their CS:GO squad, though in that case the squad signed on until 2020. Such long contract durations are not necessarily the norm, signing extensions prior to TI is especially out of the norm. The official announcement can be found here.
TI7 surpasses TI6 prize pool
The International 2017 has officially surpassed TI6's prize pool of $20,770,460 USD on Wednesday. As a result, TI7 will field the highest prize pool of any esports event ever. It is currently set to go past the 21 Million mark. Follow Cyborgmatt's prize pool tracker here.

- Swedish team Alliance has won the Peruvian LAN event The Final Match, taking out the likes of SG Esports and Infamous and taking home $21,250 USD.

He is not wrong. Just look at Chaun. Makes me cringe everytime with that chin of his. There is only a handful of good-looking Dota pros. Like Dendi & Arteezy. They look dreammmyyyy.

sven already has too many cosmetics to win arcana. he already has a shield and a sword that have custom effects upon activation, don't think valve or many players will be thrilled to give sven an arcana given how flashy his items already are.
