I just recently got Razor in Single Draft, seemed more appealing to me than the other two heores (I don't remember them anymore). I took that guy offlane with Nightstalker teammate and we raped that lane. Ended up 14/5/25 KDA 506 GPM, 635 XPM. Razor felt really good through all stages of the game.
Razor is great.
Some people play him as a hc but Raz is not a pure hc like spec or sven. He thrives mid game and needs to end early - kind of like Ursa.
Razor wins mid. Period. There isn't a single hero that can do anything with 0 damage. Exceptions are when Razor gets ganked over and over.
I usually max W and mix between Q and E, sometimes maxing E over Q depending on the enemy lineup. I think phase > treads on Razor. With phase, maxed E, and drums, you pretty much move with perma haste.
BKB is almost always a necessity, or Pipe (if team doesn't have a natural pipe builder and enemy has veno sandking type heroes). If not needed (rare), I go SNY and then the usual late game cookie cutter (butterfly etc).
You should compare razor to chen, if you dont win buy 45 minutes you start losing your purpose as he doesnt scale, even though he's an agility hero. You build razor like a tank getting as much health and armour as possible, there's no reason to build damage items like deso if you can reliably steal damage.

even if AM blinks as soon as link connects (which will cause some lost cs), he still cannot face Razor until the bonus damage duration is over. It will be a shit lane against Razor since you cant even blink in for kill since Razor has high movespeed (considering he doesn't static link and destroy you and chooses to run)
Guys what about Razor offlane? I think it is playable and thus leaves space for your team to have a real end game hard carry.

I'm pretty sure the reason I'm in normal skill is because of my low skillset and has nothing to do with Razor wiping up the floor with AM in lane. but sure go ahead and use that against me to get out of the crappy argument you started that has no logic to support it :)

I have lost some games but most of them i won. Dont have to have high gpm becuz u can play him as offlaner and be position 1 or 2. Not bad hero for a low pickrate. Can consider guys.
