I think in pubs where people don’t punish and games drag out, radiance will help farm faster. Also it allows for guaranteed damage when ulting wheras stats and tempo items are more efficient in coordinated pro games
you'd be surprised also that diffusal blade spec counters undying and can kill him quickly.
radiance is still an item but personally I prefer bm/diffu/manta instead of wasting 5k gold on an item which mostly helps you to farm(the goofy 3-shot-supports spectre)
It's okay on her, I believe. I don't play very much and I am not very good when I do, but I watch match making sometimes. Radiance Spectre seems to favor the Hood rush a lot since they often have to contend with Lina, Tiny, Earthshaker, Necrophos, Pugna, Zeus and / or a crit happy WK that rushes Blink. She just seems to prefer a way to stay OUT of the circus if she's going to get one. But I'd take anything I say with a grain of salt.
Last time she was cancer the argument was that any game you could win with radiance, you could win with manta-diffisal but you’ll lose plenty of games saving up for radiance that you could’ve won with manta-diffusal.
I guess the desolate nerf really hurts her early game?
Build is and should be : Manta 1st item into -- Radiance if it's right or diffusal blade if Manta isn't enough to secure haunt kills.
Radiance isn't skipped all together.
radiance is very situational, but in most cases this is ridiculous to farm 20 min for an item that helps to farm

So basically nearly all pros player who play Spectre always skip radience
they build was simple, pt-aquila-stout-qb-magic stick then go to manta-diffu-bm-butterfly or to taras/skadi and abysal
Seems people thinking farming radience on spectre is so risky, because if she miss the timing or making it to slow, she will fall behind and never recover
they try to go to haunt, manta combo to finish the enemy quickly and earns the money
i always feels that radience is good but the items is too risky to build on her
