What is the best behavior score to be in? in General Discussion
Where is my Hu Tao

Recently I noticed that every night for the most part I play with the same 20-30 people every night and sometimes across multiple games. I got to know some of them and found they all have the same behavior score as me. I have tried multiple accounts. Some accounts have behavior score of A, some have C. When I was in the A my teammates while nice and even when losing encourage each other. Where as the teammates in C usually sell items or rage when something bad happens.

However The people in A while nice are pretty bad at dota. I do not mean that in a flaming kind of way but they are actually bad at the game mechanically and game sense. For example in a 1v1 match up they will more likely lose. Complex skill combos they miss etc. The people in C while extremely toxic for the most part are pretty good at farming and out skilling their opponents. However when things do not go their way they will feed on purpose or become a keyboard warrior.

My question is there an ideal behavior score to be in?

I may be wrong but I dont think behavior score in dota is denoted by A, B, C or F. You have either good, average or bad conduct which is updated after every 25 games. My account has good conduct but I get matched with all types of players. Sometimes good sometimes toxic.

the best behavior score is the one that does make you check your behavior score ever

Well, its obvious that in the same bracket, the low behavior score players will have to be more skilled in order to compensate for weaker team skills.

Overall, if you find yourself stuck at your mmr, then its most likely where you belong. In order to improve, you have to actively learn new things and techniques to get better (not just play more games; repetition only gets you to a certain level). For me, i found that high behavioral score is generally preferred as you can carry your teammates and be less reliant on them. Even if they suck, you can consistently win your lane and tilt the game to your own teams favor.

In low behavioral score, I found that I had less impact towards winning. My teammates are tilting and rage. You often get feeders, making the game out of your control. I have experienced and read other smurfs as well saying that low behavioral score can actually prevent you from reaching your true rank, because you have less control over the game.

In conclusion, it is to your advantage to maintain high behavioral score. Of course, I've seen rare moments where an extremely calm person (somehow has low BS) utilize his patience to guide his skilled, but toxic player to victory. In my experience, I give up after a game of toxicity and most people don't have this ability to take advantage of the low BS.

actually i got A+ and im fine with it meanwhile normal behavior i get atleast 5 commends every game since i motivate my teammates

dont be thrilled by this ...

due to some hardware issues and multiple abandons (even in low prio) i droped to behavior score C

despite what i expected, there were good manner players, we would have a decent supp, no argue, more rotation (its weird in 3k)

                        * one game i had a pa mid, she failed hard and my team flamed her, but instead of goin mad and feed or destroying items, she started to support team by warding and making supp items!!! it was ok since we had other carries which lead us to win!

*only one player appeared in 3 of my games, he would start by "respect me or i will ruin game" and he would actually ruin game by killin his items and staying afk in lanes (still leaching exp) whole game and sometimes snitching for enemies :D

For this post to make sense. I forgot to tell you guys how to see the behavior score. Open console. Developer 1 and then dota_game_account_debug. At the bottom it will say letter grade. I think oj's juicy bag has a point. The people with high behavioral score are mostly winning by getting carried and working together. While the people with poor behavior score has to win with people working against them and throwing. Provided both type of players are the same mmr. I think the one with poor behavior score is better mechanically while the one with higher score is easier to win with.

                          tryhard

people with bad BS are mostly deluded. those guys will never succeed in dota or at any other real life aspects

the command is dota_game_account_client_debug, not dota_game_account_debug.
